Nexus utilizes a strict Fail-Closed logic gate. If the Sentry detects an invalid environmental context or unauthorized signature, the transaction is rejected at the edge with a 403 Forbidden response. This ensures the nexus_vault.db remains uncontaminated by unverified state transitions.
Security is enforced at the database layer via Write-Ahead Logging (WAL) and atomic transactions. To maintain stability over public tunnels, the protocol utilizes deterministic routing headers to prevent tunnel interstitial interference. The Brain is designed with minimal external dependencies, significantly reducing the attack surface.
Phase 1.4.0 focuses on ingress integrity and state correctness. Currently, the protocol does not provide end-user anonymity guarantees, custody external assets, or enforce multi-chain identity beyond environment validation.
